She received an M.E in Applied Electronics from Anna University, India. She was awarded a doctorate of philosophy from Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore, India. She also has more than fifteen years of teaching experience. Her research interests include power electronics and renewable energy systems. Currently, she is working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at AMC Engineering College, Bangalore, India. V. Subramaniyaswamy is currently working as a Professor in the School of Computer Science and Engineering, Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore, India.
