Currently, Dr Zheng is a system engineer working on electric drive systems in Honeywell Aerospace Technologies, USA. She holds a PhD/MSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland College Park, USA, and an MSc/BS in Engineering Mechanics from Tsinghua University, China. Dr Zheng was a core technical member contributing to the success of in-house power electronics design for an EV start-up. She was also one of the lead engineers for an ultra-small EV onboard charger system prototype. Previously, Dr Zheng was with GM Electrification, working on design/analysis and system integration for next-gen power inverter systems.
