Alexandro Jodorowsky was born in Chile in 1930 and studies psychology and philosophy at San Diego before leaving after two years to work in the theatre. A renowned film maker os passionate intensity, he followed up El Topo with Holy Mountain and Santa Sangre. He now lives in Paris.
