Author Information

Otto B. Kraus nació el 1 de septiembre de 1921 en Praga, Checoslovaquia. Él y su familia fueron deportados en mayo de 1942 al gueto de Terezín y desde ahí a Auschwitz, donde Otto se convirtió en uno de los consejeros del bloque de los niños. Después de la guerra, conoció a Dita Kraus, una de las niñas supervivientes de aquel bloque número 31 y se convirtieron en buenos amigos. Se casaron en 1947 y tuvieron dos hijos y una hija. Otto murió el 5 de octubre de 2000.
