Patrick Radden Keefe es periodista en plantilla de The New Yorker y autor de varios libros de no ficción: Chatter (2006), The Snakehead (2009), No digas nada (2019, merecedor del National Book Critics Circle Award y el Orwell Prize) y El imperio del dolor (2021). Ha publicado artículos en The New York Times Magazine, Slate y The New York Review of Books. En 2014 recibió el National Magazine Award en la categoría de crónica por «A Loaded Gun» y fue finalista del mismo premio en la categoría de reportaje en los años 2015 y 2016. Asimismo, es creador y narrador del podcast en ocho capítulos Wind of Change (2020).
