Jones' inspiration for sunflowers originates from a childhood memory from his mother about sunflowers growing along the New Mexico highways during her childhood. Jones is now creating digital paintings of his sunflower photographs. His first digital painting publication is called, El Girasol! It is Spanish for sunflower!
