El encarnizamiento médico con las mujeres is a tribute to the women who fall ill and survive excessive doctors, tests, surgeries, and medications; and the women who, without being ill, are subjected to unnecessary processes, including most pregnant women. Women, and also health and social service professionals, must rebel against the medical mistreatment from which they suffer. The book addresses in detail: menopause, the medicalization of puberty, contraceptives, numerous aspects related to pregnancy, annual gynecological examinations, egg freezing, osteoporosis, voluntary abortion, the vaccine against the papillomavirus, ovarian cancer, mammograms, and 50 cases take from the daily lives of women.
