OverviewThis book delves into the origins of the Protestant Church in southern Ethiopia, beginning in 1920 AD. As soon as the Sudan Interior Mission (SIM ) missionaries entered Wolaita and began to spread the light of the gospel to the local people living in darkness, the Lord called men and women to him. These became the handful of elders. Under their leadership, eight men and two women became followers of Jesus Christ. This second round of gospel patriots traveled to different parts of Ethiopia outside of Wolaita and paid a high price for preaching the gospel. One of these was Evangelist Ekaso Ebero, and this is the story of how the Lord used the evangelist to work in the midst of endless suffering. Ekaso never hesitated to speak about the Savior Jesus in front of anyone and under any circumstances. Some of these circumstances will surprise you.
