Der demographische Wandel stellt die Frage nach der Versorgung alter Menschen, die nicht von ihren Angehorigen umsorgt werden konnen. Wie beeinflussen sich die wirtschaftlichen, politischen und institutionellen Akteure gegenseitig? Wie lassen sich ihre teils unterschiedlichen Perspektiven zum Wohl alterer Menschen integrieren? Die Studie geht den geschichtlichen Entwicklungen der Pflege von 1870-2012 nach und konkretisiert mithilfe von Interviews am Beispiel des Frankfurter Diakonissenhauses. Konzepte, die zu sektorenubergreifender Zusammenarbeit anregen, soziale und technische Innovationen, ein Blick in andere Lander und Aspekte diakonischer Bildung beschreiben weitere Entwicklungen, die zu einer 'alters- und pflegefreundlichen Kultur' beitragen konnen.[An age based home.
