If you think that this book is a repackaging of traditional approaches to prayer, you are in for a surprise. In fact, you may even find some of the contents controversial. Each secret is an insight that the author has discovered and tested, one at a time, over several decades, after trying the stock-in-trade teachings of traditional religion. There is nothing here about praise or repentance, but there is a chapter on thanksgiving and plenty of references to unconditional love and forgiveness.
