Katharina Frank legte nach ihrem Studium der Rechtswissenschaft an der University of Warwick (Vereinigtes Königreich) und an der Universität Gießen 2011 erfolgreich die Erste Juristische Prüfung ab. Während ihrer Promotion war sie als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin zunächst in einer international tätigen Anwaltskanzlei in Frankfurt/Main, später an der Universität Gießen beschäftigt. Seit 2014 ist sie Referendarin am Landgericht Gießen.
