OverviewThe chloride resistance is the most important phenomenon of concrete structure durability, it is related to the penetration of chlorides. The strength of the steel is reduced due to the occurrence of chloride ions in concrete structures. This research investigates the effects of penetration of chloride ions and acid resistance on self- compacting concrete in different ages. Mineral admixtures like fly ash have been used to concrete mixed with cement replacement ratios of 0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, 30%, and copper slag is replaced with the fine aggregate ratio of 20%, 40%, 60%, 80%, 100% and also study the fresh properties like L-box, U-box, V-funnel and slump flow and mechanical properties are compressive strength, flexural strength, and split tensile strength of the self-compacting concrete. Durability properties of SCC assessed with rapid chloride penetrability test and acid resistance by using M40 grade concrete.
