Author Information

Christian Gerike has a Master of Arts degree in Cultural Resources Management, is a Registered Professional Archaeologist, and has more than 32 years of cultural resources management experience in the public and private sectors. He has worked as a project coordinator at the Sonoma State University Anthropological Studies Center; was supervisor of the Northwest Information Center of the State of California Archaeological Inventory, and has many years of experience with several private sector firms. Most recently Christian Gerike served for more than 10 years as the Principal in charge of LSA Associate's Northern California Cultural Resources Group. He has extensive management experience with diverse cultural resource projects at the local, state, and federal levels, including prehistoric and historical archeological surveys and excavations, historical architectural studies, paleontological studies, and Native American tribal consultation.
