OverviewYoga is a group of physical, mental, and spiritual practices or disciplines which originated in ancient India. Yoga is one of the 6th orthodox schools of Hindu philosophical traditions (Feuerstein, 1998). The great sage Patanjali who was born in 200 BC systematised the science of yoga which was being handed down by word of mouth from one generation to another.
