Jane Yolen is an award-winning author of children's books rooted in folklore. The recipient of many awards, including the Regina Medal, the Caldecott Honor, and the World Fantasy Award, she attended Smith College and received her master's degree in education from the University of Massachusetts. When not writing, she composes songs and enjoys telling stories on the stage. Born and raised in New York City, she currently resides in Hatfield, Massachusetts. Heidi E. Y. Stemple is an experienced author who specializes in children's books, short stories, and poems. Growing up, she never wanted to be a writer. She went on to become a probation officer and, at the age of 28, realized she wanted to follow in her mother's footsteps. The daughter of renowned children's author Jane Yolen, she went on to publish over twenty-five books. She currently resides on a big farm in Massachusetts. Eugenia Nobati is an illustrator based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Joel Froomkin is a classically trained actor and audiobook narrator with nearly 300 titles to his credit. An eight-time AudioFile Earphones Award winner, he is a United Kingdom transplant with American parents who has the unique ability to switch between authentic British and American accents. Having taught dialect at New York University/Tisch School for the Arts, he spends his spare time wrangling loquacious dachshunds.
