Overview

This book focuses on the theme of ""the impact of education development on rural poverty reduction in China"". Firstly, it reviews in detail the research results on the relationship between education and poverty at home and abroad, and then analyzes in depth the mechanism of the role of education in promoting rural poverty reduction, taking into account the causes of rural poverty and anti-poverty measures and tools. On this basis, we empirically analyze the effects of education level, education level, education type, compulsory education law implementation and university expansion policies on rural poverty in China based on macro and micro, spatial and non-spatial, static and dynamic, and unidimensional and multidimensional poverty perspectives with the help of spatial lag model (SAR), spatial error model (SEM), logit model, double difference model and breakpoint regression model. poverty. Finally, integrating the empirical results with the actual national situation, relevant policy recommendations are proposed to promote rural anti-poverty in terms of upgrading education level, optimizing education level structure, and strengthening vocational education development. In order to enrich the research results related to education development and poverty alleviation, provide guidance for assessing the quality of precise poverty alleviation as well as improve the targeting and effectiveness of future poverty alleviation work, and provide more valuable references for decision-making in the anti-poverty cause in China.
