Armand Grobler was born in South Africa but grew up on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, Australia. His passion for wildlife came from a young age as he watched his hero, Steve Irwin, on TV and in various Wildlife Documentaries, often imitating Steve, making his own small time documentaries while catching snakes, lizards and other local wildlife. Today, Armand is an internationally acclaimed professional wildlife photographer and author.
