Sebastián Valverde, PhD in Social Anthropology, Faculdad de Filosofía y Letras, Universidad de Buenos Aires, Argentina (2006). He has a degree (2001) and he is Professor (1998) in Anthropological Sciences at the same school. He is Permanent Researcher at the Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas (CONICET), at the Facultad de Filosofía y Letras, Universidad de Buenos Aires, where he is also a Professor at the Department of Anthropological Sciences. He also teaches, as a regular Professor at the Department of Social Sciences at the Universidad Nacional de Luján. He integrates and directs different research projects in both universities, related to economic anthropology, interethnic relations and ethnopolitical movements of indigenous peoples related to the Mapuche indigenous people settled in southern Argentina. He has published articles in specialized magazines and books.
