It offers cutting-edge insights into the immediate impact of the crisis on work inequalities and social integration. Taken on its own, each chapter is outstanding, providing detailed evidence of different dimensions of quality of work and social integration. This book definitely advances our knowledge of the impact of the crisis, and I am convinced it will serve as a seminal study for future research on the medium and on the long-term impact of the crisis. Thus, I strongly recommend this book to scholars interested in the fields of sociology of work, social inequality, social stratification and international comparative research.
