Author Information

Sara Hart received a Master of Architecture degree from Columbia University in New York City. After many years in practice in New York, she turned to design journalism, specialising in building technology and innovation. She has written extensively about new materials, technologies and sustainable practices. She is a New York-based writer and contributing editor at Architectural Record. David Littlefield is a senior lecturer at the University of the West of England. He has written and edited a number of books, including: Architectural Voices: Listening to Old Buildings (2007) and Liverpool One: Remaking a City Centre (2009), which are both published by John Wiley & Sons.
