Mani Navasothy came to the United Kingdom in 1985 as a refugee at the age of 15, following persecution and racial violence in his native country Sri Lanka. In 1995 he graduated from the University of London with a B.Sc degree in Physics Studies. For a short time, he trained as a Secondary School Science Teacher, before moving on to the Civil Service, Charity Project Management, and Events Organiser. For the past 6 years, Mani has been developing several Esoteric Enterprises, online publishing, Video productions / promotions and more. Brought up as a Hindu, Mani has always been spiritual. Following his father's untimely death in London, Mani began to question spirituality & religions, and started exploring western pagan paths -Shamanism, Wicca & Witchcraft. He is currently delving deep into western High Magic, ancient Hindu ritual practises, Psychic self-defense. Mani has published 6 books in Esoteric subjects `(Halloween Guide for Pagans, Parents, Teachers & Journalists', `Yule Rites' and `Coven Guide: Become an initiated Witch'). An astrologer of 25 years, Mani published his Astrological explorations in 2 books as `Eclipse Magic Workbook' and `Astrology for Eclipse Magicians'. `Elephantom Origins: Birth of an eco-Hero' is a 26 paneled illustrated children's book with Hindu spiritual features that has been published as eBook and as a print-on-demand Book via Amazon's Createspace. Mani has followed in his father's footsteps as a Writer, and has written several fictions in early 1990's (unpublished as yet). In 2011, he founded Gaian Times - an eco-spiritual organisation, and started producing `Gaian Times online eco-magazine' every quarter. In his spare time, Mani enjoys tinkering with websites, gardening, exploring the British countrysides, creating science-fiction, fantasy & Visionary art works, graphics, sculptures (ranging from papier mache statues that are few inches tall, to chiseling god-faces on old concrete boulders in the garden). Mani has provided illustrations for other books (Bulimia Hope & When the Rainbow Smiled, and news papers (Tamil fortnightly paper published in London and circulated in Canada, Australia & USA).
