OverviewEcodesign is becoming very popular in modern times. The author restored philosophical and religious background of ecodesign in Eastern traditions. As result, she wrote two books applying this knowledge to temperate zone, being supported by her coauthor-botanist Julia Tarasova (assistant in Botanic Garden at Saint-Petersburg State University). The books describe ecodesign in ancient Indian and Chinese cultures. They were written when the author lived and worked in India and China. First part about Indian tradition was published by 'Piter' (Saint-Petersburg, 2004) and republished together with second part about China as e-books by 'LitRes' (Moscow, 2009). Both are included into current third edition.
