Author Information

Abigail Wheatley joined Usborne Publishing in 2002 after completing a doctorate on medieval castles. She's still writing books about castles, but has branched out into areas such as science, art and cookery. She lives in a little book-filled house in Kent, with views of a real castle from her bedroom window. Prue Pittock started in advertising and illustrated and designed album covers. Since then she has illustrated 8 picture books . In 2020 she was shortlisted for the CBCA Eve Pownall Award.
