Tithankar Roy is a renowned icon in the field of Economic History. He works as a Reader at the London School of Economics in Political Science. He is an expert in the economic history of South Asia and has published several journals and papers. Some of his popular books are Economic History of India, (1857-1947), Traditional Industry in the Economy of Colonial India, and Company of Kinsmen: Enterprise and Community in South Asian History 1700-1940. Gurcharan Das is a popular commentator, intellectual, and author. He writes regular columns for close to six Indian newspapers in different languages like Telugu, English, Hindi, and Marathi. Das was earlier the CEO of Proctor & Gamble India, but retired early to dedicate his time to writing. Some of his popular books are The Elephant Paradigm India Wrestles With Change, The Difficulty of Being Good: On The Subtle Art Of Dharma, and India Unbound.
