Reviews

This intimate and brave account moved me to tears, and laughter, as I read about Seth's efforts to balance who he was against who he was expected to be. This is a courageous writing, which should bring hope and encouragement to anyone who is grappling with their sexuality. I found Seth's journey to be moving. --Paula Foster, retired, Delta Air Lines Seth writes with humor, honesty, and pain. Growing up in an evangelical family and community, Seth takes us through his struggles to battle his demons both in and outside of the church. A poignant narrative delivered by a master storyteller. --Michael Marsilio, writer This memoir is not just another coming-of-age tale. There is an added dimension as Seth struggles to reconcile his budding faith with church teaching that would confine his kind to the eternal and unquenchable fires of hell. This delightful narrative outlines the journey Seth takes to come to terms with his faith and the God who made him as he is. --John Haugen, retired executive director
