OverviewEarthly Gods is a book about expectations and the search for the definition of holy. Jessica Nirvana Ram is an Indo-Guyanese first generation daughter of immigrants. She earned her MFA from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and her BA from Susquehanna University. Jessica was the 2022-23 Stadler Fellow in Literary Arts Administration. Her chapbook rebuilding the temple was published with Interrobang Press in 2018. Her work appears in Prairie Schooner, Hayden's Ferry Review, and Passages North. She is currently the Director of Sticky Fingers at Honey Literary, and also a poetry reader for Okay Donkey Magazine and Split Lip Magazine. Her chapbook in the aftermath was published with Prismatica Press in 2024. Jessica works as the Publicity and Outreach Manager for the Stadler Center for Poetry and Literary Arts at Bucknell University and presently lives in Lewisburg, PA.
