Overview

The former dominion of the fallen Martian Empire continues to harbor many dangers. Major Travis and the European Space Agency for Colonial Affairs set out to inherit the unexpected legacy. The technical remnants of the imperial empire enable Earth's science to skip millennia of research. However, the debris of the fallen star empire must first be removed, and the enemies of the Martians located. To this end, Earth constructs a massive fleet designed to command respect from its foes. Space supremacy must be secured for Earth. Just in time, long-forgotten Martian battle stations appear in the depths of space. They ally themselves with the new coalition of Terra and Natrid. Just in time, as a severe attack by the manipulated Green Lizard looms. Thanks to a tip from Heran, a member of one of the galaxy's ancient species who are now more committed to preserving the races in the Milky Way, Major Travis learns that the Worgass have already produced a rather large fleet and could soon begin their incursion into the Milky Way. The New Empire must be prepared for this. One thing is clear, if the Worgass invade the Milky Way, all humanoid races will suffer.
