OverviewSome things make perfect sense, as long as you play along with popular, undigested logic. Poetry is not about connecting thoughts with logic, such as used in Science or Philosophy, and certainly not that of Mathematics. It depends on the logic of words, but also emotion and how it is conveyed; and what connects emotions to logic in a way that cannot be expressed in prose. It also depends, of course, on Everyday Logic, including the logic of social situations, and very much so, Culture. Often, though, logic gets tied up in ""knots"", as expressed by well-known 20th century psychologist, R.D. Laing, in his book 'Knots'. The contrast of logic can produce Surrealism, but it can also produce humor. This book seeks, through poems, to explore the strange connections in our logic and emotion through poetic expression and verse, to emphasize just this strange, seemingly unreal, disjointedness that we easily accept in our lives.
