Ed and Mary Teel live in Wallowa, Oregon with their cat Smuggie. Blessed to live nearby the incredible Eagle Cap Wilderness Area, they have done extensive hiking through the area over the last ten years. During this time, they began documenting the plants that they encountered. They both have an interest in plants. Ed's background is in plant science, and he's done various plant surveys while working for federal government agencies. The information presented in this guide is based on his field experience and literature reviews. Mary, the photographer, is responsible for these stunning plant photos. After working for so long on their personal passion project, Ed and Mary realized they had created something that could also be enjoyed by others.
