Jeff Hastings came to the Lord at age 9, butduring the next 25 years he wandered away from God. Then, in a two-year period, he wasdiagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor, lost his job and his ability to work, got divorced, lost his home, and lost both parents. But God had a plan for him. She lives in Port Hueneme, California, near her two adult children (also writers and editors), a wonderful daughter-in-law, and a grandchild. Gwen too is a cancer survivor.
