Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationSarah Kate Istra Winter, also known as Dver, is a spirit-worker on the margins of Hellenic polytheism, with ties to English, Germanic and Slavic folk traditions as well. She has been a priestess of Dionysos for 15 years, and has also long been devoted to Hermes, Apollon, Persephone, Hekate, and a host of personal and local spirits. Her main practices include oracular trance, pathwalking, bone-working, devotional worship, and serving the spirits in both worlds. A passionate writer before she could even properly read, she currently writes mostly non-fiction with occasional poetry, and has been published in several pagan magazines and newsletters; her first book was Kharis: Hellenic Polytheism Explored. She is also a visual artist and crafter, working in an ever-changing variety of mediums. She earned her undergraduate degree at Goddard College, specializing in comparative mythology and ritual. Dver was raised in New England, but has found a home in the lush, green, nymph-haunted Pacific Northwest. She spends her days doing ritual and making art, tramping through the woods, reading and researching, and intermittently trying to teach herself German. Her many blogs, websites and other projects can be found at www.winterscapes.com. Tab Content 6Author Website:Countries AvailableAll regions |
