Overview

Jonathon Endifield was one of those special people who could cross from one alternate universe into another without dying-until he did while returning from a special mission. Now Jate Goldmet and the remaining members of his team want to know how he died and if it could happen to them. In trying to get answers, Jate and the two surviving members of his team set events into motion that with result in Jate meeting another version of himself-not a twin, but an exact duplicate who wants nothing to do with Jate, his team, or any part of those who can move from one alternate universe to another... Or so he says. When Jate's employers secretly recruit the other Jate Goldmet into their organization, it opens the possibility that one or both of the Jates will either implode, explode, or simply disappear from any of the infinite number of alternate universes.
