Novas and her synthetic alter-ego, T'Poch, face challenges spanning space and time, impacting not just themselves but the very fates of planets. T'Poch is embittered because, as a synthetic, she cannot claim the role of matriarch of her powerful family, so she rebels. She intends to plunge two worlds, Gemini and Castor, into an interplanetary conflict. Amidst that chaos, she would rise to power. Novas, a leader from the planet Gemini, is negotiating a venture with Castorian delegate, Tempora, in an effort to thwart T'Poch's plans. Facilitated by a being with unusual powers and employing a unique method of mediation, the two find themselves inserted into Gemini's past. The threads of Time entangle as the two face Gemini's cataclysm from an impending meteor, engage in a planetary exodus to colonize Castor, and foil an interplanetary uprising on board the interstellar life crystal facility, Darwin. Throughout the turmoil, one goal stands resolute - unite the long separated halves of an ancient Life Crystal. Only then will the fates of all be determined and the Duall Singularity emerge.
