Trained in child and school psychology, Ariane is the author of the book Raising Sunshine - A Guide to Parenting Through the Aftermath of Infant Death. Her retelling of the classic Czech fairytale ""Tall, Wide and Piercing Height"" was featured in Cricket magazine in 2019. Ariane is an editor at Where Peter Is. When she is not exploring the Cleveland Metro-Parks with her family, she can be found working on a literary fiction novel called Hagar's House and a middle-grade mystery series set on historic Cleveland's Millionaires' Row. This is Alyssa LeBlanc Kimball's second illustrated book. Her first book, The Boy Who Became a Troll helps children to navigate the potentially emotional experience of nail clipping through a fun and sensitive story.
