Sheppard split his upbringing between Southern Ontario's industrial cities and the windswept coastlines of Newfoundland's Avalon Peninsula. He still lives there with his dog and partner. Trained in professional communications and folklore, D. D. explores the power of stories to both transform and preserve. This is his first picture book. Pheilm Martin was born and raised in St. John's, Newfoundland, and currently lives in Halifax, Nova Scotia, with his family, where he teaches art and social studies at the junior high level. Pheilm holds degrees in English, Visual Arts, and Education. With a lifelong love of picture books and visual storytelling, it had been Pheilm's dream to write a children's book for quite some time. He has since authored and illustrated Songs in the Sea, published by Breakwater Books. Now he is delighted to share this one with you! Tab Content 6Author Website:Countries AvailableAll regions |
