Overview

Dreaming Lost Bodies Back was born during the pandemic, an elegy of loss at a time when it was nearly forbidden to speak of the communal trauma that many experienced. The poems continued to grow in the last few years, speaking to the losses of war and hunger across our globe. Lineages of loss also bear fruit of hope and resilience. This book of poems spans the ancestral times that bring gifts to our contemporary moment, helping us to build ways of survival and flourishing in times of massive tragedy and pain.
