DRAGOON. The Final Name in Heretic Hunting. Scientist Wesley Newcomb comes to Cyber City New York for freelance contracting opportunities in the market of Anthroloid relations. After failing to secure any contracts, he solicits the National Artificial Intelligence Council's regional office for work. Everything changes for Newcomb's business when he discovers an Anthroloid woman in the basement vault of the abandon bank building he uses as his lab. Using her design, he creates his own Anthroloid product line and goes into business for himself. Unknown to Newcomb, he has become the enemy and business rival of Trevor Ferguson, the CEO of Vessel Tech who wants to control the Anthroloid market with his anti-Heretic extermination squad led by his deadly Anthroloid creation Cerebrin. To counter Ferguson's machines, Cecil Roltor of NAIC secretly funds Newcomb's operations forcing Newcomb to turn his most prized laboratory asset into a Heretic Hunter, not knowing that her past connection to Ferguson could endanger his business, Newcomb Sciences Ltd, as well as his life.
