Overview

Danger lurks everywhere, as hope blows in the breeze. Sorcerer's apprentice Samara is elated by the rescue of the dragons, but that feeling is soon squashed as the risks of being caught increase. Not knowing who in the Sacred Flame coterie is involved has Samara on edge, especially when she and her dragon, Ulrieg, are spotted in places they shouldn't be. Powerful head sorceress Callista embarks on a journey to find a sacred crystal to add to her collection, taking Samara and a couple of other apprentices. Samara discovers shocking truths along the way as Ulrieg scrambles to sabotage the mission. What unfolds when they return to the coterie base will unexpectedly change their future.

Katrina Cope is an author of several books in epic fantasy, young-adult fantasy, and a middle-grade sci-fi thriller series. Her series include Dragoria: The Lost Dragon Realm, Valkyrie Academy Dragon Alliance, Thor's Dragon Rider, The Afterlife, and The Sanctum Series. She often talks to creatures of all kinds and has a passion for animals, nature, and travel. She lives in Queensland, Australia, with her husband and has survived teaching her three children how to drive. Caitlin Davies is a New York City-based actress, director, and award-winning audiobook narrator. She has narrated a number of popular series and has been nominated for multiple Voice Arts Awards. She was also part of the full cast recording of The Unfinished Life of Addison Stone, which received an AudioFile Earphones Award.
