Overview

An unexpected discovery, made inside the Arctic Circle, was thought to be the greatest find ever. An international team of scientists gathered to study the attributes of this unique predator. The findings were astonishing, and would place it as the apex predator of their time. However, nothing could have prepared them for what would happen next. One self-serving scientist wanted to take the discovery one step further. In his zeal, he gets into trouble resulting in an outcome no one wanted, not even him. To complicate matters, there was one more piece of information uncovered that could threaten the entire human race. One of the nation's F-15 pilots called in to help subdue the creature was an out-of-the-box thinker and used unorthodox methods to score the only direct hit on it. When forced to eject from his crippled aircraft, he found himself partnering, and working with, the scientists on the project to develop a strategy against the beast. Sparks quickly develop between him and the Belgian, but they were isolated in the city, and unable to inform the military. Can the pilot and Belgian scientist get the information out, and even with it, can the combined Air Forces of Germany, Britain, France, Belgium and America be enough to stop something this large, this intelligent, and this aggressive?
