Sharon Rush was born in New York in 1985 into a family of American descent. Despite her good family origins, she has always had a very turbulent life. From the age of 14, she began to suffer from a severe digestive disease. This made her gain a lot of weight even though she did not eat at all. During this time, her life was made even more difficult by her socially related problems. She began to hide and lock herself inside her house. On a rainy January day, everything changed. A doctor who had studied at the Columbia University institute of human nutrition found the cure to eliminate this terrible situation within the type of food she ate. In 4 months, she returned to her average weight. She made a drastic decision. She began to study medicine right where the doctor that had saved her life did. She graduated with top marks without the slightest problem. After studying all types of cooking in addition to the well-being of the human body, she started her project. She began to write books to help as many people as possible discover new and healthy ways of eating and cooking that disintegrate the daily culinary dullness. Already 857 people have defined her books as revolutionary for their lives.
