OverviewIn witness protection, Deidra Frost and her team of U.S. Marshals must sometimes infiltrate the darkest recesses of humanity to protect the innocent... as well as the guilty. Tara Sphinx is a transgender prostitute who is willing to trade her list of high-profile clients to stay out of jail. One of those names is Evan Deere, the state's most powerful tribal leader. The Attorney General has been trying to tie him to illegal activities for a decade, but even the FBI hasn't been able to provide the state with an airtight case. The AG wants their newest witness to go undercover to secure his evidence. Deidra Frost and her partner, Wes Constantine, pose as a rich couple looking to walk on the wild side and infiltrate the transgender club where Tara works. While protecting their witness, they hope to lure out her boss who pimps her girls to discerning clients, and catch Evan Deere with his pants down... literally. The other team of U.S. Marshals in the Reno office, Shawn Temple and Leeland Canon, visit Deere and his various businesses to investigate the disappearance of the FBI agent who was assigned to assembling the AG's case. Upon their arrival, the reservation circles its wagons, and when the Marshals get too close, they are ambushed in the stark desert which the tribal leader claims as his own. Barbie, the office manager and Deidra's best friend, isn't content to sit by and watch. She is dissatisfied in her mundane job. Deidra's boyfriend is a bounty hunter, and every day Barbie hears how the U.S. Marshals stave off danger. When she decides to go undercover to help their operation, she vanishes, and her only salvation may be when Tara overhears plans to dispose of ""the Fed."" Deidra rushes to save her friend while safeguarding Tara who has more secrets of her own, ones which she hasn't shared with the Marshals. It puts Deidra in a race with Evan Deere to protect not only her witness, but her team.
