Her research and teaching focus on foreign policy, public opinion, and the domestic politics of international security. Her work has been supported by the National Science Foundation and published in the Journal of Politics, International Studies Quarterly, the Journal of Conflict Resolution, and Political Research Quarterly, among other outlets. She holds a PhD in government from Cornell University and was formerly a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Pennsylvania's Perry World House.
