Collaboratively created through a theatrical technique known as Devising, Doughnut Holes is a non-linear investigation on the nature of truth. Lies are a part of every day living, and vary in importance from the trivial to the life-changing. Doughnut Holes seeks to light-heartedly explore the impact that the knowledge of truth can have. This piece is based on the true stories of the creators and their friends and families. Childhood fibs and adult falsehoods weave together to become a heart-felt piece that acknowledges lying as a part of life. Truth can be withheld from others as well as from oneself. What is the importance of knowledge? And how can small truths change and persist over time? Doughnut Holes is an offbeat journey into the nature of truth and of lies big and small.

Mirum Mirum Productions is a Seattle-based theatre company committed to producing new works, primarily through Devised Theatre -- a technique used to create original work through collaboration between a team of artists. Mirum Mirum Productions was founded in February 2012 by nine Western Washington University graduates. The members of Mirum Mirum Productions are Shawn Baker, Andy Davison, Jaine Huenergard, Kyle Levein, Addie Keller, Alison Luhrs, Danielle Pettet, Joe Wagner, and Bill Woodland, all of whom studied theatre at WWU in some capacity. Their areas of expertise span all areas of the theatre world, including but not limited to acting, design, directing, writing, business, and dramaturgy.
