Overview"Don't Take My Lemonade Stand-An American Philosophy began when Janie Johnson was not fully satisfied with the answer she gave to her ten-year-old son when he asked, ""How do you know who to vote for?"" She reviewed what the ""experts"" (i.e. pundits, politicians, political scientists, etc.) had to say and learned much but still came away unsatisfied. Janie Johnson read the writings and examined the lives of our nation's founders along with those or more modern philosophers such as Thomas Sowell, Charles Krauthammer, Milton Friedman, Charles Kesler, Mark Steyn, and Winston Churchill to help develop her own American philosophy. She created one based on individual liberties that did not include the political corruption and intentional deception we see today. Politicians are ""legally"" corrupt; the political process is rigged against everyday people; government policies are critically flawed; and we the people are getting squeezed. Don't Take My Lemonade Stand-An American Philosophy has special sections to help parents teach their kids to think for themselves. Use it to take control of who teaches our kids and what they are being taught. The path to peace and prosperity is described in these pages. The issues are critical, and the time to take back our country is now."
