Some say that love is the foundation of everything, but they forget that: There are those who lose themselves in the name of love and end up abandoned. There are those who invest everything in others, believing they will be reciprocated, and live complaining about the selfishness of others. There are those who dream of a perfect love, intending to fit their beloved into this model, and in the end discover that each one is as they are and that we have no power to change anyone. There are those who confuse passion with love. They do not realize that passion is admiring in another what one represses in oneself. When the projective illusion fades, we realize the ridiculousness of our passionate acts. There are those who confuse attachment with love. They are selfish, expecting from others exactly what they do not give themselves. True love never makes you suffer. It brings joy, motivation, and pleasure, always acting with its power to harmonize human relationships. When being happy becomes a serious goal, we soon realize that WE DON'T PLAY WITH LOVE.
