Reviews

"… packed with clever puns to get all the family giggling. And with spectacular pop-ups to enjoy on every page of this flittering, fluttering book, Slack’s wacky and wonderful illustrations and Evans’ witty, wise-cracking text, ""Don't Ever Laugh at a Ladybird"" is the perfect book ‘garden bait’ to encourage your child to read along! -- Pam Norfolk * Lancashire Post *"

Author Information

Harriet Evans works in children's publishing and spends her days researching cool animal facts, imagining awesome adventures and drinking copious amounts of tea. Michael Slack is an author and illustrator of many children’s books and other cool stuff for kids and adults.  Contemporary art, animation, and modernist design inform his style, but it is humor, playfulness, and a love of quirky characters that are the heart of his illustration. When he’s not working on book projects Michael likes to paint, draw, and dabble in electronic music. Recently he’s been enjoying making ceramic art figures.
