Margaret E. Redlich is a lifelong film watcher from Chicago, IL. She grew up in Springfield, IL, and graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2007 with a degree in History and a minor in Moving Image Arts. She received a Master's in Media and Cinema Studies from DePaul University in 2015. Margaret regularly presents at various academic conferences on Indian popular culture topics and occasionally publishes in academic sources. She hosts an Indian movie night once a week, and through that has introduced dozens of friends, acquaintances, and near strangers to Indian film.
