Sensitively written and illustrated, Marie-Louise beautifully captures the feelings of a young child adapting to a new baby in the family. I'd strongly recommend families in a similar situation to the family in the story to get hold of a copy of this lovely book and share it with the big brother or sister. Author Information

Marie-Louise Fitzpatrick is one of Ireland's leading children's writer-illustrators, highly acclaimed internationally. Her awards include Bisto Irish Language Book of the Decade, a US Junior Library Guild Fall Selection and a CILIP Kate Greenaway nomination for Owl Bat Bat Owl. Her picture books explore the personal journeys of early childhood and the small but life-changing events of that time in a child's life. Marie-Louise lives in Dublin, Ireland.
