Author Information

Beatrice Doran, a librarian by profession, is a historian and writer, and an Associate and former President of the Library Association of Ireland. She is a lifetime resident of Donnybrook, and is a member of the Ballsbridge, Donnybrook, and Sandymount Historical Society, the Irish Georgian Society, the Royal Society of Antiquaries, and the Royal Dublin Society. Her previous publications include Donnybrook: A History. Vincent Clarke is a professional photographer and chief cameraman with RTE.
