Donkey Oatie is the star of the Dragon Hollow Triology, or so he thinks. He loves food and during is adventures with Peter, Sebastian, and Alexandra, he discovered a whole new world of delicacies such as hot oatmeal instead of a bag of dry oats or carrot cake instead of plain old carrots. And don't get him started about elephant ears. He took his favorite foods and a few recipes from his friends and compiled them into a cookbook along with excerpts from the books. Christy Bower is the author of the Dragon Hollow Trilogy: The Legend of Dragon Hollow, The Secret of the Sword, and The Rise of the Dragon King. She gave Donkey Oatie permission to use her computer to work on his cookbook and she had to entice him with carrot cake to get him away from the keyboard.
